Participation and Achievements
- Designed QEC Survey form and ensured its effective implementation
- Provided critical feedback in the development of course outlines with departmental faculty and chairpersons
- Contributed towards upgrading of university to W4 Category through effective networking and liaison with HEC
- Effectively participated with the relevant departments at the time of PEC visit and ensured success in acquiring accreditation for the program
- Played a vital role in acquiring PCP Accreditation
- Effectively coordinated with all departments to ensure implementation of all CIED compliances at the time of Zero visit
- Effectively Participated with the department at the time of Attestation and Accreditation visit by HEC
- Conducted self-assessment of programs against eight criteria and thirty one standards: Four (4) self-assessment reports have been prepared which were a part of the preliminary self-assessment cycle completed for the University during the year 2019
- Followed up with corrective actions on deficiencies identified by the Assessment Committees during their self-assessment visits
- Continual training of Faculty
- Standardized quality assurance activities through implementation of QEC Annual Activities Calendar, and rigorous periodic follow up through various channels
- Provided facilitation in conducting of accreditations for all programs e.g. PEC, NCEAC, PCP, etc.
- Nominated QEC Assessment Committees comprising competent resources from various reputed universities of Pakistan
- Continuous follow up for corrective actions on deficiencies identified by Assessment Committees
- Periodic training sessions for capacity building of Program Teams are arranged
QEC Memberships
International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE)
INQAAHE is international association of more than 250 organizations which are actively involved in quality assurance in higher education. Mostly Quality Assurance Agencies of different countries are member of INQAAHE. PIDE is Associate Member of this network since 2016. The network provides very valuable information on latest theoretical and practical knowledge of improvement in the field of higher education.
Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN)
APQN has been developed with the purpose of serving the needs of quality assurance in higher education in Asia Pacific Region, which contains over half the world’s population. The Network promotes good practices in the maintenance and improvement of quality in higher education in the region. PIDE is member of APQN since 2016. Members of the Network can benefit from its activities in the area of quality assurance in higher education, cross border education, international collaboration, external reviews of the programs / institutions and capacity building.
Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (PNQAHE)
Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education was launched in the 1st International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education, December 18-19 2017 organized by Khyber Medical University at Peshawar. In the conference, Quality Enhancement Cell of KMU proposed Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education to provide a platform to QECs of Pakistani HEIs which are established in 170 Universities.
