It’s International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone layer. The Ozone layer protects everything living on the Earth from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays from the Sun. Without the layer of ozone in the atmosphere, it would be very difficult for anything to survive on the surface.As the pollution rate increases the ozone hole has developed because people have polluted the atmosphere with chemicals containing chlorine and bromine the gases emitted from non-recycled waste.Let us always remember that we are the ones responsible for its destruction and we are the ones who need to protect it. So we should work together to protect the planet we live on.
