We are proud to announce that Azam Awan, Sariya Barkat, and Farwah Fayyaz Palijo, 2nd Year Pharmacy students from Salim Habib University, have secured runner up position for their research ‘Effectiveness and Anticancer Activity of a Phenolic Compound from Curcuma Longa against the MCF-7 Breast Cancer Cell Line In Vitro', supervised by Mr. Ali Asgher Shuja, Lecturer, Faculty of Pharmacy, Salim Habib University, at the PHARMRESEARCH 24 Inter-University Research Poster Competition organized by the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jinnah Sindh Medical University. The competition, which took place on Saturday, May 25, 2024, was participated in by more than 10 universities, and included 54 poster presentations. SHU Pharmacy students Noor ul Huda Malik, Bakhtawar Afridi, Fiza Ghulam Haider, Wania Tabraiz, Maryam Waheed, and Shafaq Noorullah also presented their research.
