Ms. Uroosa Kanwal

Ms. Uroosa Kanwal joined Salim Habib University in September 2023 as a lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. She holds a degree in Pharmacy from Dow University of Health & Sciences and completed her M.Phil. at the University of Karachi in 2023, where she was honored as the first recipient of her department’s degree.

She has 4.5 years of extensive experience in a reputable hospital in Karachi, she has served in various capacities, including inpatient and outpatient pharmacist roles. Her expertise extends to clinical pharmacy, with a specialized focus on pediatric critical care areas. In this capacity, she managed patient therapy, and provided drug-related information and support to healthcare providers and the general population, enhancing patient care and safety.

Her blend of clinical and hospital pharmacy experience is instrumental in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, offering students valuable insights into real-world pharmacy practice.
