Biography
Dr. Irfan Ahmed Usmani holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering with a research focus on Artificial Intelligence. He earned his Master’s degree from the University of Ulm, Germany, and his Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi.
With a rich experience spanning 23 years, Dr. Usmani has dedicated 17 years to academia, where he has been instrumental in shaping the minds of future engineers. His teaching journey has taken him to various universities within Pakistan and institutions outside the country, enriching his pedagogical approach with diverse perspectives. He also brings 6 years of valuable field experience from his work with various local and multinational companies.
Dr. Usmani’s research interests are deeply rooted in the realms of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Signal and Image Processing. His extensive expertise and passion for these fields drive his contributions to both teaching and research, making significant impacts in the academic and professional communities.”
