Biography
Prof. Aqeel Ahmad has more than 40 years of teaching and research experience. Previously, he was associated with the Department of Microbiology, University of Karachi. He is an HEC recognized research Supervisor and has supervised many Masters/M. Phil & PhD students. Published more than 100 research articles in well reputed national and international journals. During his research career he also won several research grants.
He has been visiting faculty at Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology, Karachi; Jinnah University for Women Karachi; Sindh University Jamshoro; The Agha Khan University (School of Nursing); Dadbhoy Institute of Higher Education.

1. Production of Monoclonal antibodies
2. Production of Immunological reagents
3. Development of Serodiagnostic tests
4. Screening Biological Potentials (antimicrobial, immunomodulatory activities) of plant extracts, purified, semi-synthetic & synthetic compounds.
5. Monitoring microbial pollution.
6. Endophytic fungi
