World Tuberculosis Day is marked on the 24th of March as a day reserved to raise awareness about the consequences of tuberculosis (TB), and to encourage the public to invest in efforts to free our world of this catastrophic disease.TB is a prevailing global epidemic with disastrous health, social, and economic consequences, and it is past time that we come together to bring it to an end.
